aVAILABLE POSITIONS
Cashier
Reporting to the Head Cashier, cashiers are responsible for operating a point-of-sale register to process transactions and providing excellent customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a point-of-sale cash register to process sales and returns
- Process store credits
- Set up new customer loyalty accounts
- Provide excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills with customers and other employees
- Able to count money and make change, having a good knowledge of basic mathematics
- Able to type alphanumeric characters accurately
- Able to work independently and also be a team player
- Flexible in all areas, including but not limited to: work schedule, duties and responsibilities, extreme weather conditions, etc.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Previous cashier/customer service experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift, pull, push at least 50 lbs
- Able to sit or stand for an extended period of time
- Able to work in all types of weather
Seasonal Greenhouse Sales Associates
Sales associates ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. They are responsible for assisting customers as they shop and for helping to maintain their assigned department.
This is currently a seasonal position, but there is the potential for longer-term employment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist customers in a positive and friendly manner in person or over the phone
- Unload new inventory and help display products in an attractive and easy-to-shop manner
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills with customers and employees
- Able to work independently and also be a team player
- Flexibility in all areas, including but not limited to: work schedule, duties and responsibilities, extreme weather conditions, etc.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year in a nursery setting preferred
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift, pull, push at least 50-75 lbs
- Able to stand for an extended period of time
- Able to work in all types of weather
Trees & Shrubs Sales Associate
Reporting to the department head, Team Leads are responsible for supporting the department head in the day-to-day activities in the department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
