How to turn your landscape ideas into reality
- We start with an onsite consultation with the landscape designer to learn more about your landscape and design intentions.
- After that, you will receive a computer-rendered landscape design, along with a comprehensive plant materials list, including general care tips and planting information.
- After approval, our team gets to work, and you see your dream landscape design come alive in front of your eyes.
Excluding consultation fees, Martin’s will offer to waive drawing fees to customers who purchase all planting materials included within the design from Martin’s Home and Garden. This offer is contingent upon a minimum purchase of $2,000 (includes; plants, mulch, and other bagged goods). This offer is not redeemable for cash; the total design fee will be deducted from the overall cost of planting materials.
How does it work?
Working with the customer’s needs and preferences, the landscape designer will create a design including detailed plantings in relation to your landscape and site conditions. All designs are to scale and concise for ease of the customer and/or landscaper.
Drawing fees are calculated by the total square footage of the planting area. Planting-only designs are calculated at a rate of $1.50/ft2. Designs that include irrigation, hardscapes, and intricate slopes will be calculated at a rate of $2.00/ft2.
Initial onsite consultation fee will be priced as follows:
Within the city of Murfreesboro = a rate of $30.00/hour.
Within Rutherford County = a rate of $40.00/hour.
Beyond Rutherford County = a rate of $50.00/hour
A mileage fee of $3.00/mile will be required with all consultations. First hour and mileage must be paid at time of scheduling.
After a design is drafted, the customer and designer will have the opportunity for a scheduled meeting to discuss the design, plant materials, and revisions. Upon creating a final draft that meets intended design and landscape specifications, the customer can purchase the design, including planting information, general care, and digital copies.
