The Red Star Cordyline (Cordyline australis) boasts pretty burgundy foliage that resembles a palm-like form and works well in landscapes or containers. Mature plants can potentially produce sweet smelling, ivory white flowers that are very attractive to bees. Grows well in USDA zones 7-9. It prefers moist soil and plenty of sunlight.
