Hibiscus syriacus ‘Ardens’
Ardens is a medium sized, slender, well-branched shrub with bright green serrated leaves and beautiful, large rose-purple blooms. It is easily grown, tolerating a wide range of soil and moisture conditions. Its purple blossoms are produced in late summer. The Althea Hibiscus is considered a shrub or tree and will not die back to the ground in winter, like the Hardy Hibiscus.
