Outdoors: Sow 4-6 weeks before your average last frost date, when soil temperature is 50°–60°F, or early to mid-fall for bloom the following spring. In mild climates, sow in late summer to early fall for winter and spring bloom.
Indoors: Not recommended, as roots are sensitive to disturbance.
