Noted for its cold hardiness and colorful seed pods, Gardenia jasminoides ‘Heaven Scent’, also known as Cape Jasmine, is a medium-sized evergreen shrub with thick, lustrous, lance-shaped, dark green leaves and intensely fragrant, single white flowers. Blooming from late spring through summer, the wonderful blossoms give way to showy, red, orange and yellow seed pods in fall. Tight, upright and compact, this rounded shrub is perfect for small gardens, containers, or as a hedge.
