Green Mountain Sugar Maple are beautifully filled out maple trees with fall colors that can range from orange, to yellow, and bright red, There can be significant color variant among individuals. The flat lobed leaves grow to about 8″ wide. These maples can be harvested for their maple syrup. Drought tolerant in open areas. While sugar maple’s have some disease and blight issues, ‘Green Mountain’ are noted for their resistance to pests and leaf scorch, and pest and disease rarely mean death for this sugar maple variety.
