Exotic looking with yellow and red petals that curl backwards, resembling flames. Plant along a wall or trellis where they climb up to heights of about 8′ by its leaves that cling to it, instead of tendrils. The flowers need direct sunlight, but the roots need shade. The plant can be lifted and kept in moist peat moss over the winter in a cool, dark place before replanting again in the spring.
