Picea glauca ‘Conica’
This dwarf variant of the Alberta spruce is an evergreen conifer with a classic pyramidal Christmas tree shape that rarely exceeds 13 ft. It is a popular choice for foundation plantings as a large shrub or small specimen tree. It grows very slowly—about 2-4 in. per year. The tree has a tight, densely-packed growth habit and rarely produces pine cones.
