Solanum lycopersicum

‘Moneymaker’ earned its name because of its uniformity and reliably heavy yields. The medium-sized fruits are sweet with a meaty texture, making them versatile for use in fresh or cooked dishes. A favorite of southern gardeners and those in climates with hot, humid summers. Frost-sensitive vines grow up to 6′ or longer. Botanical Interests’® Moneymaker Pole Tomato Seeds are USDA Organic and have been verified by The Non-GMO Project.

This packet yields approximately 24 plants when started inside.

75-80 days from transplanting to maturity.

Outdoors: For mild climates only: Sow 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is at least 60°F.
Indoors: Sow 4-6 weeks before transplanting. Transplant when air temperature is 45°F or warmer, usually 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Ideal soil temperature for germination is 70°–90°F.

What is an heirloom seed?

An heirloom variety is one that has been passed down from generation to generation. Generally, the variety must have been around for at least 50 years. They are open-pollinated, which means they have been exposed to natural pollination methods like insects or winds. They aren’t hybrids or genetically modified.
