Helianthus debilis
‘Vanilla Ice’ brings a creamy, light yellow color to the garden and your tabletop arrangement. Sweet 3″–5″ flowers bloom on multi-branched, 5′ tall plants that are lovely in a moonlit garden. Sunflowers are practically care-free, very easy to grow, and provide months of color. Plants grow up to 5′ tall and produce flowers that bloom from summer to frost. Prefers full sun exposure.
Outdoors: Sow 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date.
Indoors: Sow 2-4 weeks before your average last frost date. Sunflowers are sensitive to root disturbance; sow in biodegradable pots that can be planted directly in the ground.
