Cucurbita pepo (hybrid)

Add sparkle to the vegetable garden. ‘Sunstripe’ has delicious flavor enhanced by the beautiful color and tender texture. Fruits begin to appear 2 months after sowing and are produced non-stop through summer. Small fruits are wonderful as baby squash, or pick at any size. Spineless, bushy plants make harvesting easy and painless. Use fresh in salads, add to kebabs, or your favorite summer squash recipe! Botanical Interests’® Sunstripe Summer Squash Seeds have been verified by The Non-GMO Project.

This packet sows up to 4 mounds.

50 days to maturity.

Outdoors: Sow 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is 70°–85°F.
Indoors: Not recommended except in very short growing seasons; sow 2-4 weeks before transplanting. Roots are sensitive to disturbance, so sow in biodegradable pots that can be planted directly into the ground. Transplant when soil temperature is at least 60°F.
