Cucurbita pepo (hybrid)

We love ‘Max’s Gold’ zucchini because of its beautiful color outside, and flavorful, firm squash inside. Long, straight fruits have a small seed cavity, meaning there’s more delicious squash to eat. It’s ideal for grilling, snacking on fresh, or adding to salads. Harvest frequently so that plants continue to produce throughout the summer months. Compact vines form a small, 2′ tall and 3′-4′ wide bush plant. Botanical Interests’® Max’s Gold Summer Squash Seeds have been verified by The Non-GMO Project.

This packet sows up to 6 mounds.

55 days to maturity.

Outdoors: Sow 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is 70°–85°F.
Indoors: Sow 2-4 weeks before transplanting. Not recommended except in very short growing seasons, as roots are sensitive to disturbance; sow in biodegradable pots that can be planted directly into the ground. Transplant when soil temperature is at least 60°F.
