Solanum tuberosum (hybrid)

‘Clancy’ grows in a diversity of colors and has great quality; it even won the 2019 All-America Selections award! Small, .75″-1.5″ potatoes are both round and fingerling shaped with smooth skin in a mix of shades between rose gold and red. This “creamer” potato has a pale yellow to white interior and creamy texture when cooked. To increase harvest, hill soil around plants a few times as they grow. Potatoes can be harvested any time after they flower and before a hard freeze. Foliage grows up to 24″-40″ tall and produces pinkish lavender flowers. Botanical Interests’® Clancy Potato Seeds have been verified by The Non-GMO Project.

This packet yields approximately 9 plants when started indoors.

85-110 days from transplanting to maturity.

Outdoors: Not recommended.
Indoors: Sow 4-6 weeks before your average last frost date. In mild climates, start seeds in mid-summer for a fall crop. Ideal soil temperature for germination is 60°–70°F.
