Asclepias tuberosa is native to most of the U.S. and is usually orange, but sometimes plants magically take on local characteristics, like this yellow beauty that was found in Colorado. A perennial in USDA zones 3 and warmer. Plants grow up to 18″-24″ tall and produces flowers that bloom in the summer. Prefers full sun exposure.
