Cucumis melo (hybrid)
A lovely aromatic fruit with a smooth, grey-green rind that turns yellow-white when they are perfectly ripe. The flesh is orange-pink inside, revealing its sweet, juicy goodness. A frost-sensitive annual. The oval melons are 2-4 pounds each. Vines grow up to 4′-5′ long.

Outdoors: Sow 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is 70°–90°F.
Indoors: Recommended for short-season areas. Sow 2-4 weeks before transplanting within 2 weeks after your average last frost date. Sow into biodegradable pots that can be directly planted in the ground; roots are sensitive to disturbance.
