Nigella hispanica
Intriguing, dual-colored blooms on practically care-free plants with lovely, airy foliage. ‘African Bride’ will be a dramatic addition to your cut flower arrangements, and the bees will love it in the garden. Interesting, nearly black, miniature, papery “lanterns” form after flowers drop. Plants grow up to 18″-36″ tall and produce flowers that bloom from summer to fall. Prefers full sun exposure. Botanical Interests’® African Bride Love-In-A-Mist Seeds have been verified by The Non-GMO Project.
Outdoors: Sow 2-4 weeks before your average last frost date. For continual bloom, sow every 2-4 weeks after initial sowing until midsummer. Also sow in early fall for very early spring bloom.
Indoors: Not recommended, as seedlings are sensitive to transplant disturbance.
