Phaseolus vulgaris

Your neighbors will love all your extra beans! ‘Provider’ is a high-yielding and early producing bean with great disease resistance to bean common mosaic virus (NY15), pod mottle virus, and mildew. These stringless, straight beans germinate in cooler soils than other beans, allowing for earlier sowing. One of the best for freezing and canning. Plants grow up to 16″-18″ ta;; and wide. Botanical Interests’® Superfoods Baby Greens Seeds are USDA Organic and have been verified by The Non-GMO Project.

This packet sows up to 40 feet.

50 days to maturity.

Outdoors: Sow 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is at least 65°F, ideally 70°–85°F.
For Successive Sowings: Sow every 7-14 days up to 80 days before your average first fall frost date. In very hot summer areas, skip sowing as high heat approaches; temperatures consistently above 90°F will prevent beans from forming.
Indoors: Not recommended, as bean seedlings are sensitive to root disturbance.

What is an heirloom seed?

An heirloom variety is one that has been passed down from generation to generation. Generally, the variety must have been around for at least 50 years. They are open-pollinated, which means they have been exposed to natural pollination methods like insects or winds. They aren’t hybrids or genetically modified.
