Rubus Canadensis ‘Apache’
The Apache Blackberry is an erect, thornless highly productive blackberry, ripening 15 days later than Arapaho. Apache produces the largest fruit of the 3 thornless blackberry cultivars, with one berry weighing up to 10 grams. Once established, Apache Blackberry plants do not require the support of a trellis or fence to grow. Resistant to orange rust. For pruning, trim canes to around 42″ in early spring.
